VetSit adopted the idea of concierge veterinary medicine to reflect the type of individualized medicine and continuous care that Dr. Beall offers her patients and their families.

Dr. Beall's unique practice allows for her to act as a primary care veterinarian.  Patients and their families have the rare opportunity for a continuous, dedicated relationship with their veterinarian.  This personal relationship allows for a higher quality of care during both wellness and illness.

Dr. Beall's dedicated approach allows her to care for the whole animal.  She aims to care for every patient from as many aspects as possible in order to support health and wellness to the fullest.  In addition to providing traditional veterinary care, Dr. Beall provides detailed discussions and individualized recommendations on enrichment, training, nutrition, exercise, family relationships and routines.

PRIMARY CARE CONCIERGE HOUSE CALL

BEHAVIOR CONSULTATION HOUSE CALL

NEW PATIENT HOUSE CALL

A new patient house call with Dr. Beall includes an in depth discussion of medical history, environment, training, nutrition, enrichment, as well as a complete physical exam.  Dr. Beall will discuss any recommendations for preventative and diagnostic health care, as well as treatment plans when appropriate.  Each consultation is tailored to the individual and their family.  For example, a puppy examination may include a long discussion on puppy care, nutrition, socialization and training, whereas an appointment with an older pet suffering from a chronic medical condition may focus on the medical treatment plan.  All new patient house calls are scheduled for an hour in order to provide an exceptional and unique veterinary experience.

VACCINATION AND VACCINE TITERS

Vaccination is offered when appropriate.  Our vaccination protocols are specifically tailored to each individual pet for the best protection against contagious disease without causing unnecessary harm.  Dr. Beall will discuss with you a recommended vaccination schedule depending on your pet's lifestyle, environment, and the presence of other disease processes.  VetSit also offers vaccine titers in appropriate cases.

DIAGNOSTICS

VetSit is able to provide a wide variety of diagnostics in the comfort of your pet's normal environment.  Home diagnostics may include (but are not limited to):  blood and urine samples; lumps and bumps diagnostics; dermatology specimens to look for infections, mites and other abnormalities of the skin and ears; and culture samples to identify causes of infection.  All tests are sent to a nationally recognized laboratory for evaluation.

BEHAVIOR COUNSELING

All of Dr. Beall's house call visits include a basic behavioral evaluation and accompanying recommendations.  These will comprise more of the house call when appropriate, such as house calls for puppies or newly adopted pets.  For specific behavior needs such as separation anxiety, inappropriate elimination, and fear, Dr. Beall offers behavior consultation house calls which allow more time to make appropriate behavior diagnoses and formulate a detailed and step by step behavior modification treatment plan.

NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING

All consultations include individualized advice about nutrition and health optimization.  Nutrition is an essential component of your pet's health and preventative care.  Nutrition plays an important role in the treatment of many medical conditions, many of which can be maintained simply by providing an appropriate diet.

REFERRAL SERVICES

Dr. Beall aims to provide the highest quality and individualized veterinary care in the comfort of your own home.  When a service, such as x-rays, surgery or specialist care, cannot be performed at home, Dr. Beall will refer you to a trusted veterinary clinic or referral hospital.  Dr. Beall aims to coordinate her patients' care each step of the way and is available to advise and assist her clients and patients whenever needed.

Dr. Beall aims to reach as many patients and families that need her care.  In order to keep her general practice as affordable as possible she has chosen to limit her service area rather than charge high house call fees.  By only traveling short distances for her general veterinary practice, Dr. Beall ensures that she spends her time with her patients and her families.  This allows her to keep costs for her house call care consistent with that of traditional in clinic visits in Seattle.  Additionally she has prioritized keeping the cost for all lab services, vaccinations, medications and diagnostics competitive within Seattle market.

The one exception to Dr. Beall's service area is special behavior consultation services where Dr. Beall expands her service area to encompass most of Seattle for this special service.  Dr. Beall schedules detailed behavior consultation appointments that last about 3 hours and focus on a behavior specific diagnosis and treatment plant.  After the initial consultation most clients follow up with Dr. Beall is provided through email.  Most behavior patients will continue their primary veterinary care with their regular veterinarian.  All follow up medical diagnostics and exams should be done through their regular veterinarian.
